Here are the guidelines for all our zines. Also, if any recommended publisher is opening up a zine for submissions, we'll be listing them as well.

pyramids press | general guidelines

We will accept drama, humor, h/c, angst, smarm, adventure, action.

We do not accept poems, limericks, artwork, romance/het, death fic, sad ending fic. Crossovers are fine if they are among the list.

pyramids press | general house style

Each publisher has a house style. We use a general one just to make it easier to translate to print. A link will be up soon summarizing the style guides for Pyramids Press.

pyramids press | minimum requirements

At least 4 pgs single spaced (3000+ words), there's no maximum, but if your story is like, oooh 100+ pages or more, er, let's talk first, okay?

pyramids press | new writers

Please note that as of current, Pyramids Press is an invitation only publications. That means we do not accept open submissions and only go through recommendations we receive from your peers, review and approach if a slot opens up in a publication. All Pyramids Press writers are always welcomed. If you know of a writer whom you feel is a good fit, feel free to forward the name, any links, and most importantly, writing samples. We are looking for consistent, strong writing with a love of the show they're writing. They must also be willing to work with editors to build a solid piece.

There is no such thing as a perfect writer (yes, even Austen). However, our editors and proofreaders are also here to help maintain your voice as well.
